Wales registration opened 1 Oct 2026 · England register due March 2027

Short-let safety, sorted at every changeover

Every UK holiday let and Airbnb already needs a written fire risk assessment and working, tested alarms. Most hosts have a clipboard at best. Scotland now checks before it licenses you, Wales is registering every let, and England's register is due in March 2027.

Fit to Let tells you what applies to your let and keeps the evidence for you.

Coming next: a log that fills itself in

Your booking calendar knows when each guest checks out. Connected alarms like Aico HomeLINK know when each alarm was last tested. Put the two together and you get an automatic record for every changeover, plus a warning before the next guest arrives if a test was missed.

We're also looking at:

  • a small listener for properties with standalone alarms, which hears the test beep and logs it (no audio recorded)
  • leak and freeze alerts that don't rely on the guest Wi-Fi
  • an evidence pack for your insurer, licence officer or the register

We want to hear from management companies and FRA assessors as well as hosts.
